Who uses this

Who uses CSV export and how

If you collect data, you need to be able to use it. Here's how real organisations export their form data.

Attendance & registration reporting

Churches and nonprofits export event attendance lists to share with leadership or file for records. One export, ready for your board report.

Event attendee management

Export your RSVP or registration form data to organise seating, prepare name tags, or manage check-in lists for events of any size.

Lead list building

Small businesses collect enquiry and contact forms and export leads directly to a spreadsheet — ready to import into a CRM or work through manually.

Grant and compliance reporting

Nonprofits and charities export programme intake data to meet grant reporting requirements. Clean, structured data that goes straight into your funder's template.

Volunteer scheduling

Export volunteer availability and preference data to build rotas in your spreadsheet of choice. No need for complex scheduling tools when you already have Excel.

Student & membership records

Schools and membership organisations keep clean records by exporting enrolment or membership forms to a central spreadsheet, updated as often as needed.

Frequently asked questions

Can I export submissions from any form, including ones on the Free plan?
Yes. CSV export is available on every plan, including Free. There are no plan restrictions on accessing or exporting your own submission data.
Does the export include all field types, including file uploads and signatures?
Text fields, dropdowns, checkboxes, radio buttons, dates, and all other text-based fields export as values in the CSV. File uploads and signature fields export as links or references, since the actual files are stored separately and can be downloaded from the submissions view.
How do I open a CSV in Google Sheets?
In Google Sheets, go to File → Import → Upload, and select your downloaded CSV file. Google Sheets will import it automatically and create a new spreadsheet with your data.
Is there a limit on how many submissions I can export?
No. You can export all submissions for any form, regardless of how many rows there are. The CSV contains every submission you have, not just a sample.
Can I schedule automatic CSV exports?
Scheduled exports are not currently available. You can manually export at any time from the submissions view, or use webhooks (on the Pro plan) to push submission data to your systems automatically as responses come in.
