Do I need to set up anything to get a thank-you page?
No. When you publish a form, formwhale automatically generates a thank-you page based on your form's title and field content. There is no template to choose, no message to write, and no extra settings to configure.
Can I edit the generated thank-you page?
Yes. The generated heading, body message, and call-to-action text are all editable in the form settings after generation. You can update them at any time without republishing the entire form.
What AI model generates the thank-you page?
Thank-you pages are generated using Google Gemini, server-side, using the platform key. This happens automatically — you do not need to connect your own API key or have a BYOK plan to use this feature.
Is this available on the free plan?
Yes. Auto-generated thank-you pages are available on all formwhale plans, including Free. There are no usage limits on this feature.
What if the generated page does not match my form's context?
In rare cases the AI may generate a generic message if your form has very few fields or an ambiguous title. Simply edit the text in form settings and update it to match your specific use case.
